The Issue of the Death Penalty
The Issue of the Threat to Minority Rights
The Issue of the Freedom to Worship
The President of this Council is Sam Barnett
The Human Rights Council is more than just a forum for debate for some of the most divisive issues but is also a symbol of peace and prosperity. Whether it be debating the death penalty and its many and varied societal implications - moral; social; financial; and judicial - or the increasingly oppressed rights of minorities or the freedom to worship. It is clear that our Human Rights Council of experienced delegates will strive to reach nuanced solutions that create safety, liberty and protection for all. I hope that you will enjoy the debates and atmosphere, maybe even learn a few things!
President of Human Rights Council,
Sam Barnett
