Where to Stay

Below is a list of local hotels and B&Bs which may be able to provide accomodation for non-local delegations who require a place to stay overnight. A local taxi company 'Metro' has minibuses which can accomodate up to 16 people. A journey from the airport to CHS would cost around £20, a journey from CHS to Manchester city centre would cost around £80 and a journey from Stockport would cost around £35-40. Premier Travel Inn at Royal Crescent Cheadle

This travel Inn is approximately one mile from school and therefore in easy walking distance. Meals are not included in the price. However, there are two restaurants adjacent to the hotel: TGI Fridays and Brewer's Fayre. Directly opposite there is a large Sainsbury's/John Lewis, which has a coffee bar and restaurant. Breakfast is available at the Travel Inn: full english breakfast costs £7.50 and continental breakfast costs £5.25.

Premier Travel Inn Manchester Airport

The Travel Inn is located near Manchester Airport but is not accessible by shuttlebus or by foot. It is a five to ten minute car journey and a taxi would be required which would cost about £6. Alternatively a minibus could be hired which seats up to 16 people. There is a Beefeater restaurant next to the hotel. Breakfast costs £7.75 for adults and is free for under 16's. There are lots of places to eat near to the hotel.

The Governors House

The Governors House is about a five-minute walk from the school. There is a regular bus service to and from Manchester, and also a train station within 10 minutes walk. The hotel offers a restaurant and entertainment during some evenings. A double room costs £55 a night, with a complimentary continental breakfast served in the morning.

This hotel is situated on the outskirts of Didsbury/Parrs Wood. It is a ten to fifteen minute car journey to school, and on a direct bus route to both Cheadle Hulme School and the city centre. There are onsite leisure facilities, and it is in close proximity to a complex including restaurants, a cinema and a bowling alley.

This hotel is located in the centre of Wilmslow, with plenty of resaurants and shops nearby. It is about a 15 minute drive away. There is also a train station nearby which connects to Cheadle Hulme. Continental Breakfast is £5.99, and Full English is £7.99
